What attracted France and England to the north Atlantic region?

    France was attracted because of beaver fur trading. They made a huge market of it because it was profitable and very warm.

    England wasn't really attracted to, but the people of England when to the New World to break away from the Anglican church which was partially protestant or catholic depending on what the crown was
