Well for one there would less africans haha but seriosuly a lot of imperial powers that led expeditions into africa allied with some trides in the region that were at war with other trides. the europeans gave guns to these trides so that they could attack the other trides and bring back slaves. so i guess increased technology for select tribes, distrust of the eurpoeans and increased globlization
