Why do you think the delegates at Versailles refused to allow a German delegation to participate in treaty negotiations?

    German was not allowed to take part in the negotiation of the Treaty of Versailles because Germany did not agree on one of the clauses of the treaty stating that Germany had to pay for all the damages that was incurred during the World War I.
