Which is the major step an archaeologist takes to determine where an ancient temple was built?

a. asking local residents questions

b. studying the land and digging for artifacts

c. reading stories about the area Pretty sure I know which one but I want to be certain.

    Okay, for C), it is totally wrong because Archaeologists dont study stories to find information. For A), archaeologists and other scientists always ask question and make hypothesis. And they starts to gain certain knowledge about something/someone the more question they ask and find out. Asking questions is the key to science. But for B), it clearly answers your question because while I was in sixth head, archaeologists dig alot and find artifacts or anything Like that. It's because if you look for artifacts, and other things, it will give you the answer what type of environment they lived, hunt, used, and what part of land being related according to the artifacts. So answer is (B)
