Chinese Emperor Tang Taizong was best known for expanding the size of his empire. He ruled from 626 to 649 as the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty of China and is considered as one of the greatest emperors in the Chinese history. His powers were an exemplary model for future emperors of China and his reign was considered as the golden age of Chinese History where China flourished economically and militarily. In his reign, China covered most of the territories previously held by the Han dynasty including Vietnam and Central Asia regions as far as Kazakhstan. Centuries after his death, China enjoyed peace and prosperity because he was able to solidify the imperial protection over Chinese regions.
