The correct answer is C) Regents of the University of California v. Bakke (1978)

According to this case, it was decided that it is unconstitutional for universities to have special quotas based on race and to fill them out regardless of previous academic success, but they did give possibility for race to be a factor through affirmative action processes. They just couldn't have special quotas.
