    Erasmus was known for having written "In Praise of Folly". He was perhaps the most well known Northern humanist. Cesare Borgia was far more focused on warfare. Da Vinci was more focused on science and art. Catherine de' Medici was busy influencing her sons who happened to be kings in France.
