How did colonization affect the lives of people in southeast asia?

    They are mixed with good and bad. I am from Thailand and we are proud to be an independent. We have never colonized by any countries.

    If you talk to someone from the Philippines, they probably happy to be colonized by the American (I have no ideas why, but the Filipinos are weird--they don't love their country). Many do like the Spanish however ...

    If you talk to someone from Burmar, Laos, Cambodia. they probably oppose about the colonization because the French and the English had done nothing to their countries.
