How did documents and ideals of the american revolution, particularly the declaration of independence, speak to all people, including women and african slaves? how did these ideals clash with the realioty of gender inequality and slavery?

    It states all men (people) are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. while slaves were granted none and women couldn't vote unless the owned land and even white men couldn't vote if they didn't own land. so all white land owning me are created equal. that's the conflict of interest
