What is the federal bureaucracy, and what are some of its characteristics?

    The federal bureaucracy is the organization of government workers and their respective departments and offices in a federal government. Some of its characteristics are having an organized chain of command or hierarchy, position expertise, proper distribution and division of labor, having standards and rules in each specific jobs in the organization.
