Inca terrace farming and Aztec floating gardens are examples of how people and civilizations, adapted to their environment / geography.

The incas were surrounded by mountains and they didn't have place to plant. Therefore they used the technique of terrace farming. Terrace farming is the art of cutting into s mountain to create space to plant.

The Aztecs also did not have place to plant. Consequently, the made mounds of earth in the water and planted on that.

These are both examples of how civilizations adapted to their environment.
