Geography was important to the development of humans because: A. It determined where and how they lived. B. It determined which mountains they should avoid. C. Physical features of the earth were merely obstacles to overcome. D. People needed water.

    I believe that the answer would be A because you can automatically rule out options B and D. The only ones left would be A and C but A is more reasonable considering the geography does determine how they live. For example, if you lived on the coast you would use the ocean to provide for food but if you lived in the middle of a country you would have to live off of hunting and gathering.
