How was the Greek navy able to defeat the Persian navy? Greece had superior generals. Greece had smaller, quicker ships. Persian sailors were mainly slaves. The Greek gods had received enough human sacrifices.

    The answer to this is Greece had smaller, quicker ships called Triremes Which allowed the Greek Navy to dart around the larger Persian ships and sink them.
