How did Judaism survive even though Jewish people were separated, spread out, enslaved and the temple destroyed?

    I would have to say because Judaism was why these people lived and even though they were separated they were still able to remember the things they were taught and so they taught their children who taught their children and so forth which allowed Judaism to survive, though no one believed it would.
