Explain how the middle colonies, the New England Colonies, and the Southern colonies made money.

    The New England and Middle Colonies were more industrialized than the Southern colonies and thus were able to make money off of the production of certain goods and products. A major good produced in the New England and the Middle Colonies was ships. In addition in New England and the Middle Colonies there was a great deal of fishing. The Southern Colonies were mostly agricultural and made money off of the growing of cotton, tobacco, and other major crops.
