I am pretty sure that the way how Muslim conquerors usually treated Christians and Jews in the lands they conquered is being revealed by the third option from the scale represented above : The Muslims let Christians and Jews practice their faiths. Even though these were second-class citizens the only thing they were allowed to do is to practice their faiths.
