    The correct answer is D. The debate of whether or not a person born outside of the United States is a natural born citizen is a tricky one. Technically, someone who was born outside of the US, but whose parents are US citizens, are automatically US citizens. However, some people speculate that to be a natural born citizen of the US, you must actually be physically born within the confines of the US.
