What is the Rhineland? why did Hitler want this area? what was the reaction of the rest of Europe to Hitler taking the Rhineland?

    Rhineland is the name used for a loosely defined area of Western Germany along the rhine river. Hitler wanted it to test British and French allies. French Army, Navy, and airforce outnumbered the German Armed forces.
