It's Soviet Union. The soviet union aided North Korea with medical assistance providing over 20 doctors and of course war material in which they provided PPSh-41 or the "burp gun" nicknamed that because of the sound it made any other war materials. In which is why North Korea is a communist country and South Korea is democratic being that the American troops occupied there in South Korea ... not north.
