Where did the name for the bull moose party originate?

    It was a political faction that nominated President Theodore Rosevelt. The nick name of bull moose came from the characteristics of strength and vigor from Former President Rosevelt it got is name because he felt strong like a bull moose because some guy tried to shoot him before his speech, and he got wounded but still felt strong
