The answer is D. Earthquake. Due to their geographical position Kashmir is not susceptible to the other types of natural disasters mentioned. The Indian tectonic plate pushes under the Eurasian plate thereby creating severe earthquakes and the tallest mountain chain in the world, the Himalayas. This deadly 2005 earthquake was one of the costliest ever in terms of human lives lost which were in large part due to poor construction.
