    It escalated for all of the above reasons

    Currently, North korea probably the most isolated country in the world. No Internet, the citizen banned to leave the country, no activity past 7 pm, etc.

    And somehow, their president is capable convicing the peple that he's some sort of god.

    All of the books in north korean elementary school is filled about how the south korean and the americans are evils who want to take away their happiness.
