    If a frankish christian merchant traveled to the city of cordoba in the 10th century which would he or she not find Córdoba's population was mainly Arab. depsite eh fact that muslims were rulers of the area not whole popualtion was Arabic but so called mesoarabic it were Spaniards who libed under the islamic rule
