- Terrible pay.

- Horrifically dangerous machinery.

- Floating pieces of debris (especially fabric in clothing factories) that caused lung diseases.

- Bad odors.

- Bad co-workers.

- Oppressive bosses.

- 16-20 hours of work per day.
