Does peaceful resistance to laws positively or negatively impact a free society?

    Well, that's a matter of opinion. I think it's bad for society, because people not following laws means havoc, and chaos. Laws are there for a reason.

    I believe it is good as long as it is peaceful. Peaceful resistance allows peoples voice to be heard and for people to stand up for what we believe in. Without that right we wouldn't be a free country.
