    Hurricane Katrina was formed in August of 2005. On 29th of August, there was failure of over 50 levees and floodwalls which provided protection to New Orleans and its suburbs. This caused flooding in majority parts of New Orleans causing vast amount of water to flow in and caused damage to builidings.
