In a few sentences explain the Jim Crow laws and what they meant to African Americans?

I can't write an answer for you but, I can give you information about the Jim Crow Law. In the law it made segregation a thing. After the Civil war, people were white Americans had to only drink out of certain water fountains, go to certain schools, etc;. It made black people mad becuase of how mistreated they were.
