    The Albany plan of Union refers to the plan of creating a unified government for all the thirteen colonies so that they will have a president and be under a central government. The idea was brought by Benjamin Franklin, who was a senior politician then. The plan fail because the British government was against it due to their fear of loosing power and authority to the central government that will be formed.
