How did steam power the industrial revolution?

    Since they invented steam engines they were able to do common tasks and jobs with machinery which could do a job much faster then a human could so when they invented thus new technology a revolution happened because they were able to speed up the process of doing common tasks like harvesting oats and plants, and since they could do everything much faster people could do much more in a shorter time
