The second industrial revolution brought enormous changes to many cities in the late 1800s. Explain what the term second industrial revolution means.     Since the effects of the second industrial revolution are already quite obvious, I will just have to elaborate more on its negative effects to the people and to the society in general. The second industrial revolution paved way for the increasing population of cities thus making it overcrowded. In addition, to that, these cities eventually become improperly sanitated because of the excessive waste coming from industries and crime was rampant at that time.
