Suppose you are a civilian in the south in 1864. Write a short letter to your father in the Confederate army telling him what life is like for civilians back home.

    You should probably focus on writing on how supportive you are for the effort and how the people from the state believe that it can be won. The south was very supportive as they wanted slaves so for them it was a thing of pride to fight in the civil war because they were very traditional. You could also write about how the plantations are going and how people are behaving.
