How did rome motivate conquered peoples to pay taxes, supply soldiers, and stay loyal to the government

    Well Rome had already conquered many places, so by fear and propaganda. Anyone who said "no" to the Roman government was either locked up or killed/tortured. The Roman leader was a dictator and a tyrant, who soon took away the liberty and freedoms of all the people.
