Describe the extent of axis control in 1942

The Axis stretched out to all of Europe aside from Switzerland and Spain, all of North Africa, an expansive segment of China, one-portion of European Russia, the Philippines, Manchuria, Mongolia, and Korea. It included more than 5 million square miles.
