The answer is Israel and Egypt.

The David Accords were signed at Camp David (retreat of the United States President) and Carter's role was witnessing and mediating in the treaty.

The accords were important in establishing peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (Althought Palestinians were not invited to the negotiations)
