I am asked to identify which of Japan's major religions is described in the following passage.

The options are: Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Shintoism, Judaism, or Hinduism.

Passage: This religion, which emphasizes detachment from worldly goods, originated in India and missionaries spread it to China, Japan, and other parts of Asia.

I think the answer is Hinduism, but I"m not sure.

    From what i know Majority of Japan Is shintoist. and the other half is buddhists.
