How did geographic differences between regions lead to economic differences between them

    Geographic differences impact an economy A LOT. for example: in the early settlement of America, the north couldn't grow a lot of crops because their environment was rocky, so they relied on ships instead. however, the south had fertile land so their economy was dependent on agriculture.
