How were the new immigrants different from earlier immigrant groups

    1. Early immigrants are pilgrims, and refugees.

    The new immigrants are most likely people who intend to built a new family in US.

    2. Early immigrants stop at Statue of Liberty for identity check before they are allow to move into us. New immigrates had this process complete in airport.

    3. Early immigrants are pioneers. Modern immigrants don't have to do that.
