    The correct answer should be B. showed that Nixon had covered up the Watergate crimes. The tapes showed that there was a gap in the audio that was there for no reason and he couldn't explain why it was there or who made it. He just turned it in that way and eventually it turned out that he covered it up by removing the audio.
