Which of the following statements about Nepal is true?

B. It became a democracy in the 1980s.

C. Maoist guerillas cause major disruptions in urban areas.

    Nepal is predominantly Hindu so the first can't be right.

    The last isn't either: it's Bhutan that does it.

    B is true although Nepal was a was a monarchy until 2008, but in the 1980s the King agreed to introduce a parliamentary system.

    C is also problematic: it was true (actually, i was once stopped by Maoists while travelling in Nepal) - although this diminshed starting in 2006. and now Maoists are in the mainstream politics.

    I'd choose B for the answer
