    Many of the Governments in Latin America have competing factions (capitalist, socialist, and communist) within their borders. Geography, poverty, and varied ethnic composition in these countries has also made establishing infrastructure difficult in many areas. Drug cartels have been taking control over small towns and villages in order to sell drugs to the Natives. Social inequality is a fueling crime in Latin America. It will not be resolved until the gap between rich and poor is addressed
