Why have some historians rejected the labels bc and ad as labels for periods in world history?

Becouse that datation is based on Christian tardition and don't represnts all cultures which were not Christian and because Jesus Christ as we know today was born 4 years erlaier than was calculated in 6th century therfore it would not be as accurate as it should be
