    Sir William Blackstone’s Commentaries on the Laws of England made common law easier to understand by people who are not lawyers. He made it easy for people to understand the Law. Since it was published in four volumes, it was ideal to use by judges and lawyers who practice in the frontier. Colonist who read his work focused on Blackstone’s concept of using English law as a means to protect the people, their freedom and their possessions. It had a deep influence on their beliefs that were mentioned in support of the American Revolution and eventually the Constitution of the United States.
