In the declaration of Independence, what does the phrase "whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these ends" mean?

    Man has been given rights from God, these rights cannot be taken away by any man or government. The government's job is to protect these rights. If the government tries to take away these rights it is our duty to stand up to the government.
