    The Ottoman empire was the strongest empire for about 100 years. In 1800 the decline started and the Ottomans quickly lost their power. Europe was happy about this and they wanted to use this to their advantage. After 1800 Europe kinda ruled the Ottomans. They lost power and in the first world War the British Empire wanted to take over Istanbul and kill the Ottoman empire. This failed however ...
