    Federalist Party Founded in 1792 by Alexander Hamilton and existing till 1820-es. Party program assumed a strong federal authority and support to the United States Constitution. Most supporters lived in the New England. Famous members, among others, Alexander Hamilton, the first Treasury Secretary of the United States and John Adams, the first vice president and second president of the United States.
