What was the purpose of the Stamp Act Congress?

A. To control protest against taxes imposed by Parliament

B. To encourage buying goods important from Britain

C. To get rid of the British troops that were in the colonies

D. To give women another job in the colonies

    Well the stamp act was to control protest because C and D are incorrect because women weren't a specific part of this issue and it's the stamp act not the get rid of British troops act (not real btw) and B is false because that would fall more along the lines of the Sugar Act
