Both the silk road and the Great Wall of China symbolize China's foreign Policy. The silk road was created to connect China to other civilizations around them for trading goods. The silk road was used to create connections with these surrounding civilizations. The Great Wall of China was created to protect the country of China from invaders keeping them out which with foreign policy because it allowed for business to be done inside. Outsiders were kept out until they came up with an agreement to trade China in goods or create peace amongst the two.
