How did the ancient greeks explain weather

    The ancient Greeks used gods and goddesses to explain weather. For example Zeus was in charge of thunder and lightning, Poseidon was in charge of all marine related weather, Apollo is the god of the sun, Artemis the moon, and so on ... Plus they had wind gods too.
