    It was actually President John F. Kennedy that pioneered the space program of the Unites States of America. It was his priority to bring humans to the moon and return here on Earth in one piece. Kennedy insisted on funding the space program in his popular speech as he stated that " because whatever mankind must undertake, free men must fully share."
