Federalists were for the Constitution while Anti-Federalists were not.

    Explanation:

The Federalists were for disregarding the Articles of Confederation, wanted to reduce state power, believed a Bill of Rights was unnecessary, and were supporters of wealthy manufactures and traders. Meanwhile, Anti-Federalists wanted to fix the Articles of Confederation, wanted to keep state powers superior, believed a Bill of Rights was necessary, and were supporters of poor farmers. Many state conventions agreed to the Constitution after the Federalists Papers convinced them that concepts found in the Constitution would protect people's rights.
